Overview / Features

This product connects to PLCs via Ethernet or RS-422A (optional) and can automatically read, save and restore programs and parameters of the connected PLCs. It also can be monitored from office environment in remote area as an operational monitoring device of connected PLCs when this product connects to network. All settings for device functions can be carried out via browser. To begin use, users need only perform settings for the program backup area, settings data addresses, backup cycles, etc.

• Up to 5 PLCs made by Sharp, JTEKT (planned), or Mitsubishi (planned) can be backed up.
  • Up to 5 PLCs made by Sharp, JTEKT (planned), or Mitsubishi (planned) can be backed up.　User can specify the areas, such as “Parameter”, “Program”, and “Setting Data” which the data is needed to back up. In addition, up to three past backup data can be stored, backup schedule setting and manual setting can be done.
• Connect the PLC via Ethernet or RS-422A (one-to-one connection)
  • When using RS-422A serial communication to connect a PLC, it is necessary to add an RS-422A serial communication port onto the backup controller. * Optional RS-422A / RS-485 serial communication (2CH) expansion module is available.
• Backup area settings can be performed easily via browser.
  • The following Web browsers are supported: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox.
• Automatically manages the generations of backed up data.
• Management of battery replacement dates/schedules
  • Set and manage battery replacement date / exchange schedule date for each PLC.
• PLC failure diagnosis via system area monitoring.
