Overview / Features

The CONPROSYS Robust I/O series is a standalone remote I/O module that supports the Modbus communication protocol. It is designed to be environmentally resistant, with excellent noise resistance and overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuits, and can be used in industrial applications such as monitoring factory equipment and production lines and process control.

• Ethernet based Robust remote I/O module for Modbus-TCP protocol : 8ch 16bit Analog Input / 4ch Digital Output
  • Ethernet (Modbus-TCP) based remote I/O with 8ch 16bit Analog Input / 4ch Digital Output. Communication control system can be constructed using generic LAN cables.
• Virtual Channel to Channel Isolation / Common Voltage Protection
  • Analog input channels have ±400VDC virtual channel-to-channel isolation (leakage current less than 1μA) and ±200VDC common voltage protection, which prevents noise interference from adjacent channels and reduces measurement errors when multiple channels are connected.
• Over-voltage Protection / Over-current Protection
  • Analog input channels have overvoltage protection and overcurrent protection, which prevents the module from being damaged by high voltage spikes or incorrect wiring, and protects the current measurement from being affected by high current and high voltage in the current loop.
• Designed for a wide operating temperature range of -25 to 75°C (-13 to 167°F)
  • Designed to withstand a wide operating temperature range of -25 to 75°C (during operation) (-13 to 167°F). Robust design that can be used in outdoor environments with large temperature changes.
• Dual watchdog function monitors module and communication failures
  • Dual watchdog function monitors module and communication failures. If an operational failure of the module is detected, it will automatically reset and return the signal output to the set value. If the communication command from the host is interrupted, the signal output will also return to the set value. This prevents damage and abnormal operation of the sensors/actuators connected to the module.
• Robust ESD/EFT and surge resistance
  • Passes IEC 61000-4-5 surge testing, IEC 61000-4-2 ESD testing, and IEC 61000-4-4 EFT testing. Robust design resists noise, spikes, and high-voltage electrostatic discharges.
